Clinical Business Analyst

Partner with our Information Management and Information Technology teams to support the development and successful implementation of various clinical applications.   In this role, you will work with a variety of both internal and external stakeholders to develop the clinical specifications in regards to system requirements and user readiness initiatives as well to participate in the software analysis, the creation of technical documentation and serve as a liaison between the technical teams and the front line caregivers.

What you’ll do

  • Develop, review and implement technical documentation to identify and define system workflows
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses and others to create and test pathways of clinical applications including software releases, reports, screens, and verification tables, giving suggestions to ensure system functionality.
  • Provides training to user groups on clinical applications, conducting formal presentations and demonstrations in either a group or one-on-one settings. Maintains manuals and on-line training and reference documentation for applicable clinical systems.
  • Provides hands-on troubleshooting of applications via on-site and remote access. Provide resolutions with assistance to technical, medical and support staff.        

What you bring

  • Registration with provincial clinical accreditation program
  • Background or studies in Health Information Sciences or Computer Sciences with 2 years, hands on clinical experience, including 2+ years as a business analyst.
  • Ability to build relationships in a consultative and collaborative manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
