BC Cancer is looking for a Medical Oncologist to join its Kelowna Centre team, in British Columbia’s Southern Interior Region. Kelowna’s Sindi Ahluwalia Hawkins Centre is a full-service academic cancer centre and offers a full range of services in Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Palliative Care and support services such as Nutrition, Clinical Trials and Patient and Family Counseling. The Kelowna Centre is recognized for being a provincial leader in high dose rate (HDR) brachytherapy for breast, prostate and gynecological cancers, having changed the standard of care.
As a Medical Oncologist you will use your extensive experience and qualifications to provide oncology consultation, patient care, teaching, and research. Working with a team of specialized medical oncologists at the Centre, you will participate exclusively in the care of Oncology patients.

Kelowna is a 4-hour drive to Vancouver (depending on weather conditions), with air travel out of Kelowna International Airport.
As the successful candidate, you will have obtained, or are working towards, Fellowship standing in the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine, along with a certificate of Special Competence in Medical Oncology. You must also be eligible for licensing with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of British Columbia and meet the requirements of credentialing by the Professional Advisory Committee of BC Cancer. You must be eligible for a valid license to practice medicine in Canada.
