Registered Nurse (RN), Ambulatory Care Unit (Team Based Care)

BC Cancer

Vancouver

As per the current Public Health Order, full vaccination against COVID-19 is a condition of employment with PHSA as of October 26, 2021.

You are a Registered Nurse with experience and/or interest in oncology care. Known as a highly collaborative and compassionate team member, you put patients first in your approach to everything you do. BC Cancer is the place for you: our Vancouver centre is implementing a team-based model of care that will put our BC Cancer patients at the heart of our health care system. We’re hiring RNs to support this new model and to join us on our mission to continually improve patient care, experience, and outcomes in meaningful ways.

Work to your full scope of practice in our new team-based model of care

“Team-based care will provide a single contact person for patients supporting access to care and patient navigation. This allows for health care providers to provide cancer care rather than just deliver cancer treatment. This will improve the patient connection with supportive health care services as needed, patient and family counseling, dietitians, pain and symptom management." – Dr. Lefresne, BC Cancer
