We are hiring for our April 2023 Birthing Specialty Training today!

 

PHSA will be hosting a virtual information session with our hiring leaders from our Birthing Unit on December 6th at 1:00pm - 2:00pm.  Please join us via zoom to learn more about our current employment opportunities available within our Birthing Unit at BC Women's Hospital & Health Centre. What you bring

 

  • Graduation from an approved program of Nursing Education
  • Current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses & Midwives (BCCNM)
  • Completion of BCIT’s Perinatal Theory 1 course
  • Current CPR and Newborn Resuscitation Certification (NRP)
  • Breastfeeding course, minimum 6 hours, in the last 2 years
