BC Cancer is seeking a Gynecological Oncology Surgeon to join the Department of Surgical Oncology.

  

The preferred candidate will have certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Obstetrics and Gynecology with a subspecialty in Gynecologic Oncology (FRCSC). Candidates must be eligible for a faculty appointment to the University of British Columbia and be eligible for licensure in the Province of British Columbia. They will also have an appointment with the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology within Island Health.

 

The successful candidate will participate in a shared Gyne Oncology service with two other surgeons providing inpatient and outpatient consultative service, complex surgery, and possibly colposcopy.  

They will participate in a team based model with Medical and Radiation oncologists, pathologists, palliative care and allied health professionals within BC Cancer.
